  George Berry is found in Northumberland County by 1650 when he testified in behalf of his brother-in-law, George Knott in Aug of 1655. He gave his age as 32, making his date of birth 1623. His sister Elizabeth Berry Knott gave her age as "36 or thereabouts." Elizabeth married John Bennett following the death of George Knott. George Berry witnesses will of John Draper in 1656 in which John Bennett received bequest. By 1658 George Berry had died and John Bennett was adm. of estate as the husband of George's sister. By 1661 Elizabeth married a third time to Samuel Mann. In 1668 she married John Tyngey and in 1669 she married William Sheares.
