Notes - Mason Bennett and his brother William are referenced in the tobacco tenders for Overwharton Parish in 1724. Mason was 13 at the time and William was either 10 or 11. Brothers William and Mason both patented land in Prince William Co. in 1742. A John Bennett, probably his brother, patented land in the same year.
After the death William I, William Bennett II repatented the same land. I believe William II died in Frederick Co.
