Thomas Stratton was the son of Edward Stratton and Anne Batte, daughter of Capt. Henry Batte and Mary Batte. He married Elizabeth Elam, daughter of Robert Elam. He was given a plantation called “Baker’s” by his father in 1729 and, with his wife, sold the land 1 may 1749. Henrico Co. Wills & Deeds, 1725-1737, p. 247; Henrico Co. Deed Book, 1748-1750, p. 102.
