Will dated 31 May 1747 proved 1756 There is a record Henrico County, Virginia Order Book 1678-1693, page 182, which says that in 1685 "John Hatchett a servant boy belonging to John Farley being by him brought to this court is adjudged ten years of age." Then in April 1693 John Hatchett gave a deposition in Henrico County - John Hatchett aged about 20 years deposes that his master John Farley upon his removal from Clarksfield to Womack brought from there and carryed away one plank door, etc. ...apparently he was apprenticed to John Farley.
