  Richard's will dated March 5, 1785 names his wife Anne, daughters Sarah Estis, Frances Bush, and Anna Duke, and sons Thomas, Micajah, William, Peter, Bartlett, and Lewis. His will was proved in the February Court, 1786 in Granville County, North Carolina.
