BRADFORD lends to his daughter ELIZABETH PREWIT a negro slave and cow
and calf for her life, then to her children; to my daughter MARY LOVET,
50 pds.; to my son PHILEMON BRADFORD, ½ of my still (the other half to
son DAVID), a negro named Bass and 2 parts of nine of a negro woman named
Nan, one part given and the bought of PHILEMON WHITE, which he is to have
after deceased of SARAH RUST; to my wife MARY, 128 acres which formerly
belonged to CHARLES HEFLIN for her lifetime, a negro, cattle, furniture,
horse, dishes, and stock; to my son THOMAS, negro Demsy, 178 acres lent
to my wife after she is dead; to son DAVID, a negro names Jenny after
death of his mother and 450 acres whereon he lives adjoining his brother
PHILEMON'S line, and adjoining DAVID BRADFORD and JOHN BRADFORD'S lines,
2 cows and calves, hogs, sheep, and feather bed and furniture, an iron
pot; to son EPHRAIM, 418 acres adjoining PHILEMON BRADFORD, my son, and
my brother RICHARD BRADFORD'S land, and 400 acres I bought of EDWARD
MOORE on south side of Reels creek, cattle, sheep, feather bed and
furniture, and a negro slave; to son BENJAMIN, 450 acres being where he
formerly lived, including the Chappel adjoining LEWIS TAYLOR and JEREMIAH
BLALOCK'S lines and Quicksand creek, and a negro slave called Peter; to
daughter SARAH BRADFORD, negro named Anne, a feather bed and furniture,
cattle, sheep, desk and iron pot, a horse, after death of her mother; to
my daughter SEALY BRADFORD, a
feather bed and furniture, iron pot, negro named Milley, cattle, a chest
and a horse I bought of EDWARD MOORE, after death of her mother; all else
sold and divided to my children.
