Tunis Cole gave an oath of allegiance in Pittsylvania Co. in 1777.
A now defunct website maintained by Stacey Hoffman states that Tunis Cole was born about 1746 in Pittsylvania Co and died there about 1823. She identifes Nancy Cunningham as his wife, which is confirmed by marriage records. She gives the follwing children:
