Will of John Rogers. Stafford Co., VA WB (Liber O) 12 July 1748-July Court 1767, pp. 379-80: In the Name of God Amen I John Rogers of County of Stafford being sick but of perfect memory .. Do make this my last will & Testament .. I give to my Son Grigsby Rogers, two shillings & six pence Sterling: Item I give to my Daughter Mary Colclough two shilings and six pence Sterling to be paid to the said children soon as it can be raised out of my Estate by my Executor. Item I give to my son William Rogers the remainder of my Estate, as also I desire that my Estate be not appraised and lastly I appoint William Rogers my only & sole Executor .. 12th May 1758.

Note: Found a John Rogers b Dec 18, 1676 in the Register of St. Stephens Parish, Northumberland Co., VA, son of Richard Rogers. Think this is our John Rogers? Time is right, and location close.
