  Horashia Bennett is listed in the 1810 census of Amherst Co., VA. The Patrick Co. death register shows that Mary, daughter of Horatio, was born about 1810 in Amherst Co., VA. A James Bennett is also listednearby in the 1810 census of Amherst Co. This could be the brother of Horatio. By 1814, Horatio had returned to Pittsylvania Co., VA where his son, Thomas F.
