Reidsville-Joseph Carroll Jospeh Carroll 82 years old died Sunday at the Annie Penn memorial hospital, paralysis together with the infirmities of old age, causing his death. After preparing his body for burial at a local undertaking establishment, it was carried to the Carroll home on Barnes Street where it remained till the funeral hour, 3 o'clock this afternoon. The funeral was conducted at the First Baptist church by the pastor Rev. T. L. Sasser and Rev. J. H. Dollar, pastor of the First Christian church and internment was made in Greenview. Surviving are four [sic] children, one sone E. H. Carroll, member of the Reidsville police force, and four daughters, Medammes E. F. Keck, W. T. Lynn, J. W. Saunders, and J. E. Chapman.
