Notes - Prince William Co., Va., Deed Book Q pp. 312-316 Indenture 1 and 3 June 1765, between JOHN LEEWRIGHT of Prince William Co., Dettingen Parish and WILLIAM CARR and THOMAS CHAPMAN, merchants and partners of aforesaid county and parish, for 30 pounds current money of Virginia, all that tract of land containing 290 acres, part of a tract of 590 acres in Prince William Co., joining the lands OF SWAN JONES deced., FRANCIS JACKSON & JOHN FARROW.
Between the North Run of the Chapawamsick and South Run of Quantico Containing 590 acres, out of which LEEWRIGHT purchased of MASON BENNETT the foresaid 290 acres the lower part of said tract? [The description of this parcel matches exactly the description of the land granted to John Bennett in 1742]
