Will of Samuel Page, July 3, 1846

I, Samuel Page, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this may last will and testament in manner and form following, viz:
Item 1. I wish all my just debts to be paid.
Item 2. it is my wish that the remainder of my estate both personal and real be left in the hands of my wife to be mamaged by her and my children be raised and supported out of my estate they all laboring as heretofore to assist in their support, that is, during the natural life or widowhood of my wife and in the event of her marriage or death, then the property is to be equally divided between my children namely Jane, Parmelia F., Susan M., Mary D., Cisila C., Alice N., Sarah E., Wm (P or S)., James R. Page and in the event of my wife's marriage then she is to take what the law will allow her and remainder to be divided among my children as above named.
Item 3. I hereby appoint my brother Zenith Page my lawful executor to this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this the 3rd day of July in the year of our Lord 1846.
